Granite & Remnant Material
Granite is one of the hardest substances know to mankind. Granite is heat, stain, and scratch resistant! Granite has to be sealed 5 years after installation (this process is as simple as spraying it on and wiping it off). Many people use granite on countertops, showers, tub surrounds, fireplace surrounds, table tops, and other unique uses! We have over 200 Slabs in stock to choose from for your project.
Remnant material is the remaining portion of a slab that is leftover after a job is complete. We sell remnant material at a fraction of the cost! It is perfect for small vanities, table tops, cutting boards, and just about anything else you can think of!
Marble
Marble is softer than granite, and can etch, scratch or stain eaiser so we do not tend to keep it in stock as our granite yard is outdoors. If you are interested in Marble please check out our Distributors page to view Marble we can order. Marble works well for bathroom tops or lightly used areas. We do not recomend Marble for use in Kitchens.
There are several Granite or Quartzite options to achieve a marble look with a stone that is durable enough to use in a kitchen!
Quartz
Cultured Marble, Engineered Mable Surfaces vanities & showers
Quartz is a man-made product that is more consistent in pattern and color than natural stone. It is Resistant to stains, scratches, and cracks, however it can only be heated up to 350 degrees. Cultured Marble is a special blend of crushed marble, glass frit, polyester resin and/or alumina trihydrate fillers. These materials are mixed, and then poured into special designs and cured to a specified hardness.
